We're looking for volunteers to help us assemble 1,200 children's activity kits that will be delivered to hospitals around the country. We'll form assembly lines to fill the bags and prepare them for delivery.
Project Sunshine activity kits deliver safe, creative play directly to children in hospitals. The materials spark joy and provide therapeutic value to the physical and emotional healing process. The kits are complete with developmentally specific activities for pediatric patients in the hospital. Designed by child life specialists, Kits for Play not only alleviate boredom; they spark the imagination and create a sense of connectedness.
We'll start outside Grand River Health Hospital (501 Airport Road, Rifle) at 8:30 am for a quick flag ceremoney and then we'll head inside to the conference room).
