On September 11, 2024, High Country Volunteers will be hosting a community-wide 9/11 Day of Service event where we hope to encourage 1,000+ people to volunteer from Aspen to Parachute on one single day!  We believe it is important that we come together, cross divides, and serve with neighbors and strangers alike as we “never forget what we’re capable of doing together.”  We also believe when we come together and harness the power of volunteers, we can meet critical needs and create collective community change.  In short, we do good work when we come together!

Today, we are inviting you to be part of our inaugural 9/11 Day of Service as we are looking for business sponsors to help us host an event of this magnitude. We already have two large-scale volunteer projects being planned and many more in the works!

  1. Meals for Hope Meal Packaging Event:  We will have space available for 350 volunteers to package 150,000 meals that will be delivered to local food pantries through Food Bank of the Rockies.
  1. Project Sunshine Children’s Activity Kit Packaging Event:  We will have space available for 200 volunteers to package 1,500 children’s activity kits that will be delivered to regional children’s hospitals.

Would you please consider sponsoring our 9/11 Day of Service event at one of our critical levels of support?  We are looking forward to partnering with you on this important project.
